President's Report

Hello All,
As everyone settles in to 2017 we all are taking action (or dragging our feet!) on the things that we would like to do more of in this fresh year. I have some of my own goals and intentions for the year, and at our retreat the board shared some of their own–both professional and personal. If one of your goals for 2017 is to get more involved or build stronger bonds, now is a perfect time of year to start plotting your engagement within the industry and I would encourage you to take the leap and step up your involvement with ILEA-NCC!  Everyone has so much to offer and we would love to have you and get to know you better. Here are two ways to join in with this rewarding community:
Join a committee!  We have fantastic committees that you could join to meet other members and deepen your ILEA experience.  I personally have found committee work to be a great opportunity to develop skills and relationships that have enhanced my business.  Check our current list of committees and their contacts.
Also, the Nominations process has begun for the Board of Directors, consider applying or nominating one of your colleagues!  Below are some specifics on board duties/requirements.  Here is the nomination application, deadline is March 15, 2017.
