Journey Mapping and Experiential Design

Come join your fellow live event industry peers at Bluxome Street Winery for our spring time luncheon and educational program.  As events have now evolved into becoming an integral part of marketing strategies, creating fresh and innovative experiences is more important than ever. Join Kristine Yapp, Global Event Marketing Manager at Twitter and Carina Hessmer, Director of Experience Design at Entire Productions, as we chat about the history of experience design, what journey mapping entails and insights into identifying gaps in event strategies, ensuring attendees are engaged throughout the entire experience, and important touch points to create a thorough attendee experience at your next event.

Carina Hessmer
Director of Experience Design
Entire Productions

A born novelty seeker, Carina has always had a taste for the unique.  Her refusal to settle for the ordinary and mundane has her consistently conceptualizing means by which to elevate any experience or project to its next level. As Director of Experience Design at one of the city's top entertainment booking agencies, her current work is focused on developing and designing unique event experiences for clients such as Google, AAA, Apple, Genentech, VISA and CISCO.

Her continuous involvement and attendance at various festivals (including Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle and Coachella, to name a few) enables her to stay at pulse of the entertainment industry, ear to the ground, spotting and identifying new trends to present to planners looking for the newest and freshest ideas.   Her past work has included the revitalization of the famous Hamlet Property in Big Sur,  the development of a sustainable executive retreat spanning 400 acres adjacent to Hearst Castle, setting up the groundwork for an eco-business incubator, as well as a restaurant & catering company merging the expertise of 5 star Chef, Eric Olson, with local, foraged, sustainable and medicinal foods.

ILEA NCC Charitable Giveback Program - Shelter Inc.

You can help by bringing canned goods, laundry detergent/dryer sheets or household cleaning supplies on the 23rd.  We all have an opportunity to ‘give back’ and support our community, join us!
